Official Countdown: 11 Days

It's all I can seem to think about these days. 11 days `til she comes back. 11 days `til I hear that sweet voice once again. But, as of now, 11 days of waiting. Thankfully, God is on my side and He's given me lots of saving graces to make my wait a little bit bearable. Let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we? Allow me to enumerate the people who have rescued me from the pits.

1. Bear Reyes - My closest friend and phone buddy. We've spent countless hours laughing and having serious talks. She's one of my saving graces. She constantly encourages me to have faith and just endure the wait without breaking down.

2. Yumi Mortel - Bear's sidekick. My vent buddy. I've learned a lot about life from her. It's amazing how different your conversations can go with her. One second you're talking about something as silly as WWE, to unconditional love the next. There's also never a dull moment when she's around. Plus, she did this huge favor for me. Thank Yums.

3. THE REST OF THE MK SARKS - They've texted me and have made me smile. With them, there is no reason to give up. This barkada's for keeps.

4. Tantan Angeles - It's amazing how God keeps on surprising me with blessings. Tantan's one of them. I never expected him to be this close to me and vice versa. Now, we're pretty much YM chatmates as we talk about what he'd like to call "life's aches and pains". Amazing, smart dude.

5. Annie Anceno (and her birthday party) - Grabe. That birthday party made me smile so much. I needed to get out of the house and I was greeted by these people right inside Fridays. I was so touched that they were so warm to me. Assumptionists are great. And they can sing well too. ;)

These people have constantly reminded me that there is more to life than sadness and hate. They give me reasons to live and be the best person I can be. And I'd like to think I'm that way when I'm with them. It's impossible not to live to the fullest when you're with these people. I may have found my friends forever. :)

So, sweets, if you're reading this, WE CAN DO THIS. 11 days is nothing to the lifetime we'll spend together.
